QUASI SAYS: "DONATE TO THE RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN!"

Always, during this time of year, you've seen them in front of stores and on sidewalks literally around the world. You've seen them in their modest uniforms, ringing their bell, urging passersby to place their change -- a little more -- into their distinctive red kettles. I know that many, if not most of us, have put some coin or a dollar or two in the red kettle at some time.

MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD is asking you to do the same thing, right now -- only online. This holiday season please consider donating whatever amount you can afford to this noble and heroic tradition. The Salvation Army is one of the largest organizations of its kind. What sets them apart from many other organizations is that a large percentage of donations actually go to the intended donors, not in the pockets of "administrators" or the CEO.

By clicking on one of the top 2 widgets on the right of this blogroll, you will be taken to a secure website where you can make your donation in any amount. I have chosen to have collected funds from MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD go directly to the islands of American Samoa. Japan is not the only country beset by recent catastrophy. Samoa was hit in 2009 by a large tsunami and is still trying to fully recover from the moderate to severe devastation.

The simple fact that you are using a computer right now is a lot more than many of the families and individuals have in places like Samoa. I am asking you to please give a few dollars so that they may receive some of the basic necessities to help live their lives a little more comfortably. Now is the time to share!

A monstrous thanks from MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD.
